Welcome to the A to Z bucket list of Fabulous at 50 Claire
This bucket list idea started at work last Thursday when a colleague of mine told me how her friend went on a bucking bronco as part of her "list of things do before turning 30". This got me thinking, I was 18 months (minus 1 day) from turning 50 so maybe it was time for me to plan my "to do" list instead of just talking about various things I have been thinking/wishing to do. My bucket list of 20 items by the time I reach 50 was taking form
By the end of my lunch time, I had worked out 4 things I really wanted to do, followed by another couple of items by the time I got home.
Emails and facebook posts asking for suggestions helped me come up with a theme: alphabetical list and also a small-ish local charity who could benefit from this project. Some of the items on this list will be sponsor-able, some will benefit others and some are "just because" types of items.
So here goes:
The charity I have chosen is Sussex Search and Rescue. Another colleague is a volunteer and suggested it to me. She has spoken to me about the work they do and I am full of admiration for her and her fellow volunteers.
My A to Z is also very nearly fully formed and I have already started on it.
